Step out of the rush and into something simpler. Our hand-built cabin sits on a quiet stretch of Denton land — no Wi-Fi, no TV, just the kind of stillness that lets you actually hear yourself think.
Maw and Paps Tiny Cabin isn't a project — it's a place we built the way we'd want to stay: small enough to maintain with your own hands, warm enough to never want to leave. It sits on a quarter-acre of established landscaping, far enough from the road to feel private, close enough to Denton's main streets that you're never truly cut off.
We designed it for people who want a break from the noise — whether that's a weekend to reset, a quiet birthday, or just a night somewhere that doesn't feel like a hotel chain.
A proper queen bed with fresh linens, layered with blankets and pillows. The space is insulated for warmth in winter and cool through the summer months.
Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a two-burner induction cooktop. Basic cookware and utensils are provided. Bring your own groceries for a proper meal.
Full shower with hot water, standard toilet, and a vanity area. Towels and basic amenities are stocked for your arrival.
Local-roast coffee ready every morning. A small sitting area with books, board games, and a record player if you feel like some low-key ambiance.
A small patio with seating, string lights for evenings, and a fire pit area (bring your own wood). The surrounding landscaping offers a sense of seclusion.
A corner window seat with natural light, a collection of novels and local guides, and a desk if you need to write or work remotely for a few hours.
Most getaways today are just different versions of the same routine — same screens, same noise, same rush. Maw and Paps is built for the opposite.
The cabin is your quiet basecamp. Denton's main attractions are just a short drive away.
Historic main street with local shops, eateries, and community events. A 5-minute drive.
